Instructions:

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin, egg, coconut oil, and chicken broth until everything is well combined.
  3. Gradually add the almond flour and cinnamon (if using) until a consistent dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 5mm thick.
  5. Use festive cookie cutters (star, Christmas tree, bone, etc.) to shape the cookies.
  6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let them cool before giving them to your dog. Be sure to store them in an airtight container!

 


2. Turkey and Carrot Christmas Cookies for Dogs

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of cooked, chopped turkey breast (boneless and skinless)
  • 1/2 cup of grated carrot
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (optional, for flavor and coat health benefits)
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted chicken broth (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a food processor, blend the cooked turkey and grated carrot until finely chopped.

  4. Gradually add the flour to form a dough.
  5. Roll the dough out on a floured surface and cut into festive shapes.

3. Bacon and Apple Christmas Cookies for Cats

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of unsalted bacon fat
  • 1/2 cup of grated apple
  • 1 cup of almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of catnip powder (optional, to make them irresistible for your cat)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).
  2. Melt the bacon fat in a small pan over low heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix the grated apple, egg, and melted bacon fat.
  4. Gradually add the flour until you have a soft, sticky dough.
  5. If desired, add catnip powder to make the cookies extra appealing to your cat.
